Generalities

The RM Yachts shipyard organised a gathering in Lorient and Groix from May 23 to 25, 2026. Seventeen boats were present.

Although AvRM was not involved in this event, I am making this brief report because two-thirds of the participants were members of the Association.

Procedure

Saturday, May 23

• Meet at the port of Kernevel before 1 p.m.
• Departure from Kernevel to Lorient La Base at 2pm by coach
• Visit to the Outremer and ORC construction sites around 3pm
• Briefing at 4:30 PM
• Welcome drinks organized by Raymarine in front of the port of Kernevel in the early evening

Sunday, May 24

• Departure from the pontoon at 8am
• Departure of the coastal route at 9am - Larmor-Plage - Pen-Men - Les Chats - Port-Tudy.. The vessels over 10m reached the port after an additional loop (round trip to the entrance of the southern channel of Lorient)
• Docking at the visitors' pontoon between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
• Awards ceremony cocktail reception and dinner at the restaurant "Les Garçons du Port" at 6:30 pm on the quayside facing the boats

Monday, May 25

• Departure from Port Tudy between 8am and 12pm for the return trip
