List of anchorages in order of visit: Brest, Sein, Glenan, Viveiro, Puerto Bares, Esenada de Ares, Esnada de Mera, La Coruna, Caion, Le Conquet, Brignogan, Port Blanc, Dahouet.

Mostly favorable winds. In Galicia, mostly easterly/northeast winds and no fog. We sailed downwind with our sails wing-and-wing from Caion to Port Blanc.

Note a line of altitude of Jupiter in the middle of the night on the horizon against the light halo of the Spanish coast; lines of Venus and of the sun.

Numerous dolphins, a pod of pilot whales, a fin whale, and very high blows seen in the distance.
