We are putting our RM 1060 on the market again after finally having found a decent bigger replacement.

We have since we bought here 2019 invested more than €50 000 in material only and during the last 2 years only close to €25 000. It is a very unique and well kept (stored inside during winter among other things) RM1060. Here is a late explanatory text due to several questions received:

Edit 2025-06-15 - We get some questions regarding, as we see it, the best upgrades and modifications we have done. At the same time the things that makes this RM1060 so outstanding. And the market is always conservative so here is a short explanation:

- Extra hull windows in the saloon, on both sides. We buy an RM very much thanks to good views out. And as on all recent models, big hull windows is so nice. We added 2 on our previous RM1050 and also on this RM1060. Our friends where so inspired so they also added 2. Very, very nice view from the sofa and stronger than the original plywood so no worries there.

- Steering wheels. Since you can not stand up and steer the RM`s with tiller and have to sit high up on the cockpit back rest, which is not nice in high winds and when beating, the possibility to ad steering wheels was very important when we went from RM1050 to RM1060. Also to be able to move around without immediately have to engage the autopilot was important. Super smooth and have not had any problem since 2019.

- Separating toilet. Soo good. No smells, not even when using, no clogged tubes or tanks, no leaking Jabsco sealings etc. And no holding tank to avoid filling up in 2 days in a marina. The computer extractor fan runs 24/7 and consumes no measurable power.

- and finally, the correct sail area. The RM 1060 has a 1,4m lower mast than 1070, 1080, Pogo 36 etc. And as being very stiff and with a lot of wet area, bigger sails are a must in our opinion. The fat head main is such an improvement and together with the Sunfast 3600 inspired mainsheet and back stay system the control of the main is superior and the speed is next level. Reefing points almost the same since the fat head main is so easy to ventilate.
